CEED 2024
The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is the qualifier for the MDes programmes at IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. This is the official CEED 2024 Part A paper, rebuilt from the question paper released by IIT Bombay.
CEED 2024 kept the partial-credit MSQ scheme from earlier years but relaxed the MCQ penalty to -0.5, which changes how selective you can afford to be. Use this paper to feel the difference from CEED 2023 (all-or-nothing MSQ, -0.5 MCQ) and CEED 2025 (same scheme, refreshed pattern set), and to test yourself on the visual reasoning types that show up every year.

Marking
NAT: +4 / 0. MSQ: +4 all correct / +3 or +2 or +1 partial (correct subset, no wrong) / -1 any wrong selected / 0 unattempted. MCQ: +3 / -0.5 / 0. Maximum 150 marks.
